Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an Instrument & Control Technician II (Senior Technician) for our San Diego, CA plant. You will perform operations, testing, and maintenance of a distributive control system (DCS) and CEMS, ensuring reliable plant performance and compliance.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of GE Mark VI, ABB Bailey INFI 90, PLCs, and related equipment. Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree and 5+ years in power plant or industrial

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree required with 5+ years in power/industrial electrical, instrumentation, or electronics.
  • Experience with DCS, GE Mark VI, ABB INFI 90, PLCs and CEMS is preferred.
  • Strong ability to interpret drawings, diagnostics and perform preventive/corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain DCS and CEMS systems, and monitor startup procedures.
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on plant instrumentation and electrical devices.
  • Analyze test data and document calibration, tests and certifications.
  • Coordinate tasks and report on job planning, methods and standards.
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance while performing duties.
