Job summary

Lone Star College seeks a Specialist IV of Instructional Support - Reading and Writing to provide expert tutoring and learning-lab excellence. You will coordinate tutoring services, work with faculty to enhance programs, and ensure adherence to system policies in a dynamic, campus-based environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience; preferred are an associate degree and tutoring background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred qualifications include an associate degree and tutoring experience in the assigned discipline.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with faculty to help develop, implement, and revise tutoring and learning lab activities.
• Assist in the development of administrative processes that support instruction and students in assigned area.
• Coordinates and supervises delivery of tutoring services and/or learning labs; may provide tutoring to students as needed.
