Team Carney, Inc. is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer / Consultant to modernize the USPTO training curriculum. This fully remote role prefers candidates in the DC/MD/VA area and involves leading Training Consultation for Program Revision and curricular redesign.

The position requires 6+ years of experience, a Master’s degree in ID/ED/Curriculum, and familiarity with high-volume curriculums, gamification, and AI-assisted instruction. Government contracting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or Curriculum.
• Experience revising high-volume curriculums (prior work with >40 courses preferred).
• Expert grasp of modern learning models, gamification, and AI-assisted instruction.
• Consultation experience for potential legal content.
• Experience in classroom learning environments and consultation on classroom technology requirements.
• Working in a Government contracting environment experience requested.
• Recent USPTO and Patent program experience preferred.
