Job description

StudyFetch is a technology company building AI-native learning products: StudyFetch for students and Honen for workforce training. Together, they connect education with real-world readiness across every stage of learning.

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Instructional Designer to own course design for Honen's enterprise customers. You'll work directly with each customer's training leads, take the documentation they already run on, and build courses their own experts will sign off on. Most of the production runs through AI, so directing it well is the core skill.

You own the work from intake through launch, working alongside Customer Success and Sales, and you're the one who decides a course is ready before it goes in front of a customer's workforce. You'll have a direct hand in shaping the course creation experience on Honen and how courses get delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and launch customer courses end to end, from intake through review and delivery on a committed date.
  • Generate course material with AI and edit it to a standard that holds up in front of the customer's experts.
  • Own instructional quality, including prerequisite logic, cognitive load, assessment validity, and compliance edge cases.
  • Collect and organize the customer's source material, including codebooks, SOPs, manuals, and video, before production starts.
  • Bundle courses into curricula, set grade thresholds, write rubrics, and issue branded certificates where the customer needs them.
  • Get every course reviewed and signed off by the customer's subject matter experts before it goes live.
  • Track completion, engagement, and assessment performance after launch and revise courses based on what it shows.
  • Train the customer's subject matter experts to build and update courses themselves within a quarter.
  • Improve how we produce courses with AI and roll those methods out to Customer Success and to customers.
What We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years designing learning in corporate L&D, workforce development, apprenticeship programs, professional education, or customer education at a software company.
  • A portfolio of courses you designed and launched, with results you can speak to.
  • Hands‑on experience using AI tools to produce or scale curriculum.
  • Strong assessment design, including exams, rubrics, and grading standards that hold up under audit or accreditation review.
  • Experience building training against regulatory, licensure, or industry standards.
  • Ability to pick up unfamiliar technical subject matter quickly and work directly with subject matter experts.
  • Strong project management, including holding launch dates across several customer accounts at once.
  • Confident in front of customers and able to run client meetings on your own.
  • Comfort on a small team without established process.
  • Bonus: LMS migration experience (Relias, Litmos, Docebo, Cornerstone), video production, or Spanish.
What We Offer
  • $135,000 - $165,000 Base Salary + Equity
  • 100% employer paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401k with employer match
  • ClassPass Wellness Stipend
  • Unlimited PTO
  • A high-growth, mission-driven team focused on transforming how people learn, at school and at work
