Qualifications

• Completion of high school or GED
• Possession of an Associate Degree or minimum of 48 units, or equivalent training/education
• One year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
• Training or coursework in child growth and development, special education, first aid/CPR desirable
• Must pass assessment test to demonstrate knowledge of teaching, reading, writing and mathematics or readiness
