The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. This is a Bargaining, Non-Exempt Status, Grade 25 position. For non-exempt positions, you are not eligible to work a secondary job at Montgomery College.

Under supervision and/or direction, the senior instructional associate will maintain assigned instructional laboratory and support and coordinate the daily operations and activities. The work involves setting up and organizing work areas for classroom instruction, and coordinating with and providing instructional assistance services to faculty to ensure laboratory exercises demonstrate learning, scientific, and/or technical principles to support classroom instruction. Incumbents assist in providing technical assistance to students and faculty performing research and accessing instructional resources. Plan activities, assess inventory and maintain supplies and materials, check/maintain equipment and assist with guiding students regarding proper use of equipment. An incumbent follows specific guidelines developed by faculty/supervisor in providing instructional support in the laboratory.

$29.51 - $38.35 hourly. Initial salary placement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $47.20 hourly.
Montgomery College does not currently offer voluntary remote work, or withhold payroll taxes for states outside of its tax reciprocity agreements. As a result, employees must reside in, and perform any approved telework from Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, or Pennsylvania. Employees residing in other states at the time of hire are not eligible for telework until they have secured a permanent residence in one of the states listed above.
