This role involves engaging with healthcare providers at community mental health centers, hospitals, and other facilities to promote BMS neuroscience products, especially COBENFY for schizophrenia.

Position Overview

The Institutional MHAS is vital in executing BMS's customer engagement strategy, supporting the launch and promotion of COBENFY, and building strong relationships with medical professionals in specified territories, including Tampa, FL, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote approved indications of BMS products within the assigned territory, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets ethically and compliantly.
2. Create demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use.
3. Maintain and grow scientific expertise and professional credibility with healthcare providers and hospital staff.
4. Develop and implement strategic territory and account plans.
5. Leverage tools and data insights to optimize call plans and engagement strategies.
6. Build relationships within hospitals to facilitate formulary access and product availability.
7. Engage in scientific dialogues, organize speaker programs, and stay updated with emerging data.
8. Collaborate cross-functionally with other BMS teams to enhance customer experience and promote products effectively.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales or related healthcare roles.
• Strong ability to communicate scientific data convincingly.
• Experience engaging with community and hospital-based healthcare professionals, preferably in Psychiatry and mental health settings.
• Understanding of hospital treatment pathways, formulary, and reimbursement processes.
• Proven sales and account management skills, with a track record of exceeding goals.
