Job summary

Trinity Solar is seeking a skilled Senior Residential Solar Installer to join our growing installation team. You will perform on-site residential solar installations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with NEC and local codes.

With 3+ years of hands-on solar experience, you’ll work at heights, use a range of power tools, and document installations while communicating clearly with customers and inspectors. OSHA/NABCEP preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with residential solar installation.
• Experience with racking systems, inverters and electrical components.
• OSHA certification and/or NABCEP PV Installation certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

Trinity Solar is seeking a skilled Senior Residential Solar Installer to join our growing installation team. In this role, you’ll put your technical expertise to work on residential solar projects, ensuring safe, high-quality installations that help homeowners make the switch to clean, renewable energy.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform residential solar panel installations on rooftops and ground mounts, including racking, module placement, inverter setup, and wiring.
• Ensure all work meets company standards, project specifications, and national (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• Assist with site preparation and material staging while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
• Accurately document installation details, including photographs, equipment layouts, and material usage.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, inspectors, and internal team members.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and vehicle guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with residential solar installation required.
• Strong understanding of solar racking systems, inverters, and electrical components.
• Comfortable working at heights, on rooftops, and with a variety of power tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs. regularly and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional and courteous communication skills.
• OSHA certification and/or NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
