Job summary

Ipsen, Inc. is seeking an Installation Supervisor to manage direct installation work of vacuum furnaces on site. You will oversee contractors and Ipsen personnel, ensure safety, quality, and schedule alignment, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.

You will lead the on-site team, coordinate with customers, and participate in design and procurement aspects as required. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years in a service/contractor organization with large complex installations.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Ability to read project drawings, schematics, and CAD-generated documents.
• Strong safety management and on-site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct contractors and Ipsen field personnel for installation tasks.
• Monitor work for quality, safety, and timely execution; verify compatibility and alignment.
• Maintain installation schedule and budget; report progress and projections.
• Lead on-site team daily; set priorities and resolve disputes with the Installation Manager.
• Communicate with customers daily on activities and objectives.
• Identify vendors and components to maintain progress when parts are missing.
