Discovering your exciting role
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Quality Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products/services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives, resolve quality-related issues, and drive continuous process improvements throughout the organization.
Show your expertise
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or vocational training in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role within manufacturing.
Quality Technician certification (e.g., ASQ CQI or CQT) is a plus.
Hands-on experience with metrology and calibration systems.
Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) is a plus.
Experience with quality assurance tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
What can you expect
The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.
