Novo Nordisk in Plainsboro, NJ is seeking a Senior Manager – Insights & Analytics to provide analytics support for sales within the NNI business. The Senior Manager will partner with the Commercial Lead and leadership team to identify critical drivers and develop recommendations that guide strategy.

The ideal candidate has strong experience developing insights from multiple data sources and can influence senior executives to drive strategic change. 20-30% overnight travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include math, statistics, engineering, finance or business.
• 7+ years analytics and insights experience; 5+ years customer facing or field ops preferred; pharma analytics/consulting preferred.
• Advanced analytics and data visualization skills (R, SAS, Tableau, Qlik) preferred.
• Experience with pharmaceutical data (Xponent, Xponent PlanTrak, LAAD, Chargeback) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic business partner relationship with Commercial Lead and directors.
• Perform analysis and develop insights based on market dynamics, including PCP / endo behavior, Health System impact, market access influence and other market players.
• Generate local market insights to inform commercial strategy, planned tactics and execution.
• Partner with Commercial Lead, directors and Sales Execution to plan and execute key initiatives based on insights and recommendations.
• Conduct deep dives on specific topics to find root causes, identify opportunities and define solutions.
• Establish strong knowledge of local market levers and available tools to define recommendations applicable to defined business unit.
• Provide strategic guidance to support existing brands and launch plans.
