Job summary

Leidos’ Digital Sector seeks a Hunt Analyst to support, sustain, and evolve the database backbone of the DHS Insider Threat Program. You will leverage advanced analytics to identify insider threat indicators and coordinate across DHS entities.

You will conduct proactive insider threat-based hunting using UEBA and UAM tools, analyze large datasets, and respond to critical alerts within defined SLAs, helping protect national security interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of insider threat experience or Master's with 10+ years experience.
• 10+ years knowledge of the intelligence cycle, analytic techniques, systems, processes, and organizations.
• 10+ years knowledge of Threat Assessment & Mitigation Strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for briefings.
• Knowledge of domestic/international threats to U.S. national security.
• Ability to network with security stakeholders to promote program utilization.

Responsibilities

• Examine and analyze insider threat data to identify trends and insights.
• Provide analytic support for UAM/UEBA tool operation and requirements.
• Conduct proactive insider-threat hunting across DHS networks.
• Identify mitigation strategies to reduce insider threat risk.
• Respond to critical UAM alerts within defined timeframes.
