Cribl is seeking a staff-level investigator at the intersection of insider threat, forensics, and executive protection. This hybrid role leads investigations end-to-end, briefs executives, and supports physical security programs.

You will be the senior technical resource on a small team, maturing insider risk and forensics practices while coordinating with HR, Legal, and Security leadership. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across insider threat investigations, digital/hardware forensics, and physical/executive protection (or equivalent).
• Experience leading insider risk investigations involving high-stakes, sensitive matters.
• Knowledge of employment law, HR investigation standards and confidentiality in internal investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead insider risk investigations from detection to closure, including scoping, evidence collection, interviews, findings, and remediation recommendations.
• Partner with HR, Legal, and Employee Relations to ensure defensible, confidential investigations compliant with privacy rules.
• Build and mature insider risk program components: detection use cases, escalation criteria, case workflows, cross-functional playbooks.
• Brief sensitive findings to senior stakeholders with discretion and documentation.
