TikTok is seeking a technical security analyst for its Insider Risk team. You will lead high-impact investigations globally, focusing on data exfiltration, policy violations, dual employment, and reputational risk stemming from TikTok personnel.

Strong technical instincts and cross‑jurisdiction collaboration are essential. Ideal candidates have experience in security analysis or engineering within large-scale tech or media environments and can mentor analysts while communicating complex findings

Qualifications

• Strong technical proficiency in log data analysis, security principles, IAM/SSO, cloud services, EDR, and logs across various systems.
• Experience leading complex security investigations from detection through remediation.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead insider risk investigations from intake to closure involving sensitive matters such as data exfiltration, unauthorized access, dual employment, misconduct with potential public or regulatory exposure, and IP tampering.
• Analyze telemetry data and indicators across regional infrastructure (DLP, endpoint, VPN, service, and collaboration logs).
• Conduct interviews with employees and stakeholders across regions, and produce region-specific investigation reports aligned with global protocols.
