Alpaca in the United States is seeking a Senior Insider & Data Risk Analyst to own insider risk investigations and mature the Insider Risk Management Program. You will triage signals across people, devices, identity, and data movement, and partner with Legal, Compliance, and IT on sensitive cases.

This role sits at the intersection of insider risk, data protection, privacy, and financial services. You will translate risk for leadership and build durable processes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in insider risk, DLP operations, digital forensics, or security investigations.
• Hands-on investigations and case management with discretion on sensitive personnel matters.
• Experience operating DLP in SaaS and endpoint environments, tuning rules for signal quality.
• Familiarity with AI, SOAR platforms, and workflow automation for alerts and case orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Own insider risk investigations from triage through closure with timelines and determinations.
• Mature Insider Risk Management Program with repeatable workflows.
• Operate and tune Data Loss Prevention tooling across environments.
• Mature data classification and align DLP controls to sensitivity levels.
• Investigate data exfiltration and policy violations across source code, cloud services, and platforms.
• Partner with HR, Legal, Compliance, and IT on sensitive cases with discretion.
• Assess risk from unauthorized AI tooling and data exposure; leverage AI tooling where appropriate.
• Lead insider risk assessments and maintain risk registers; support audits and training.
