Job summary

Ferguson in Ridgefield, WA is seeking a Senior Inside Sales Representative to support Valve Automation quoting, deliver exceptional customer service, and build key vendor relationships. This development role offers hands-on training and a clear path to grow within the Valve Automation team.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role requires 1–7 years in sales, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks and commitments.

Qualifications

• 1-7 years of sales experience is preferred.
• Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Support the district on quoting valve automation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while learning the Valve Automation business.
• Size on/off Actuators, Control Valves, Accessories, & build out Valve Automation quotations daily.
• Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales.
• Work with all associates in the district to support our V&A products. Be a team player.
• Form solid relationships to establish trust with entire district to work seamlessly together.
• Willingness to learn and train continually. Specific to Valve Automation products.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Support the district on quoting valve automation.

• Size on/off Actuators, Control Valves, Accessories, & build out Valve Automation quotations daily.

This is a development role where the V&A team will invest in your success. The team will teach you everything you need to know about Valve Automation.

Pay Range

$19.65 - $36.08

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
