Job summary

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Senior Inkjet Applications Engineer / Manager to join the Inkjet Technical Service team at the Billerica, MA location. This hybrid role involves leading technical service, supporting customer trials, and coordinating with R&D to drive inkjet solutions.

You will oversee rapid lab projects, mentor a small team, and work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to expand Cabot’s inkjet capabilities across the Americas.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ technical experience in inkjet inks or dispersion science.
• Experience with establishing long-term customer relationships.
• Chemical lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dispersion across desktop to industrial printing.
• Strong written and verbal communication of complex data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer-facing technical expert for inkjet dispersion technologies in the Americas.
• Lead quick-turnaround lab projects for troubleshooting and prototype ink solutions.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers on Cabot products.
• Partner with Sales and R&D to support customer trials and product adoption.
• Manage a small lab team and ensure timely written reports.
