Job summary

TROY Group, Inc. seeks a senior R&D chemist to direct the formulation and development of next-generation ink platforms. You will audit current formulations and drive optimization from concept to commercialization, leveraging depth in pigment/dye chemistry and printhead dynamics.

You will lead complex programs, validate interactions across architectures, and mentor junior chemists while ensuring ISO-aligned processes and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related physical science discipline.
• 8+ years (Master's) or 10+ years (Bachelor's) of progressive industrial R&D in ink formulation or related fields.
• Proven track record launching inkjet products from lab to manufacturing.
• Experience mentoring junior chemists/lab staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic formulation and development lifecycle of next-generation ink platforms.
• Architect and oversee complex ink development programs from concept to commercialization.
• Synthesize expertise in pigment/dye chemistry and high-speed printhead dynamics to meet standards.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to transition formulations into high-volume manufacturing.
