Job summary

CFS Brands in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a Process Technician to monitor molding presses, ensure quality and conform to procedures across shifts. You will support startup/maintenance tasks, manage setup sheets, and uphold safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus related technical training or experience in plastics. Occasional travel and overtime may be involved according to production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One-year certificate or related experience or training preferred.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand multimeter AC/DC/Ohm.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor and Process Engineer in prioritizing machine startups and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate color changes, work orders, and new startups.
• Ensure molds are properly maintained and tagged; write work orders as needed.
• Collect startup/shutdown samples and deliver parts to QA.
• Inspect mold change setups and ensure presses are ready for startup; maintain setup sheets.
• Record cycle information, downtime codes, and scrap codes in the Vorne System.
• Maintain clean machines and label resins/colorants for return to compounding area.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on work orders to repair presses/molds in a timely manner.
• Assist Shift Supervisor in enforcing safety procedures during molding operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
