Job summary

Jacobs Management Group in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Injection Molding & Plastics Engineer to lead advanced plastics processing, tooling, and manufacturing development in a highly regulated environment. This senior individual contributor role offers technical ownership across global processes and collaboration with engineering, quality, R&D, suppliers, and mold makers.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in injection molding, plastics processing, tool design, and mold flow analysis,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required.
4+ years of relevant engineering experience in a GMP or regulated environment.
Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
Candidates from highly regulated industries may be considered.
Willingness to work onsite in the Denver, CO area and travel internationally 15–20%.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and sustain injection molding processes.
Lead hands-on molding setup, process development, and optimization activities.
Troubleshoot molding, tooling, equipment, and manufacturing issues; implement corrective actions.
Participate in mold and tooling design reviews, including DFM and mold flow analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams and external mold makers on tooling design and repair.
Apply polymer knowledge to improve production performance and quality.
Support automated manufacturing equipment and secondary operations.
Lead root cause investigations and drive process improvements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and staff.
Coordinate across Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and suppliers.
