Datavault AI, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator to support a complex environment that includes legacy Solaris, Linux and Windows servers, on‑prem hardware, SAN/storage, networking and web application infrastructure, with potential cloud modernization.

The role is ideal for a senior engineer who provides hands‑on operations, troubleshoots production issues, assists with capacity planning, and acts as a trusted escalation resource while coordinating with IT leadership

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong Unix/Linux administration experience.
• Experience with Solaris 10/11 in production.
• Experience with on-prem server infrastructure.
• SAN/storage administration and capacity monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience in mission-critical production environments.
• Ability to work independently as a senior escalation resource.
• Willingness to onsite support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain legacy Solaris environments.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers.
• Support on-prem infrastructure and storage devices.
• Assist with storage capacity planning and troubleshooting.
• Provide Level 2/3 escalation for infra issues.
• Maintain monitoring, documentation, and SOPs.
• Participate in future infrastructure planning and cloud migrations.
• Ensure production availability for Event Citadel systems.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call escalation.
• Serve as backup to IT Ops leadership when needed.
