Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Sr. Technical Specialist for Infrastructure to report to the Manager of Network Services within IT Infrastructure and collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and vendors to plan, evaluate, implement, operate, and monitor technologies in their specialty.

This role focuses on OhioHealth’s physical infrastructure, including copper/fiber plant, electrical systems, HVAC, and data, server, voice, video, and third-party equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science.
• 5 years of experience.
• Experience with copper and fiber plant installation/management.
• Knowledge of ANSI/Bisci standards and healthcare ICT practices.
• Strong ability to read construction documents and site plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical expertise for applications supported by team.
• Oversee third-party vendors to ensure timely, quality service.
• Conduct site visits for quality assurance and vendor meetings.
• Support ITIL processes and crisis capacity management.
