Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Sr. Technical Specialist for Infrastructure who will report to the Manager of Network Services.

This role collaborates with infrastructure engineers, enterprise architects, project managers, and vendors to plan, evaluate, implement, operate, and improve data, server, voice, and video infrastructure across the system. You will develop standards, oversee bidding and construction tasks, and ensure architecture compliance, security audits, and efficient ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of telecommunications, electrical/HVAC knowledge as defined by industry standards.
• Strong understanding of building HVAC systems and electrical design for facilities supporting data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as deep technical expert for applications supported by the team.
• Develop and review governance, QA, and standards to ensure architecture compliance.
• Lead technology change to deliver business outcomes with cross-functional input.
• Oversee vendor relationships to ensure on-time, quality services.
• Conduct site visits for quality assurance, RFI fulfillment, and vendor meetings.
• Operate ITIL processes and focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of HRO.
