Job Overview:

Howard Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect with an Aruba certification focus to lead enterprise wired and wireless campus infrastructure design while supporting high-impact pre-sales architecture engagements. This senior-level, customer-facing role requires deep expertise in Aruba networking, mobility, security, and management platforms, combined with strong consultative and executive communication skills.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor, working closely with enterprise customers, sales leadership, and delivery teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performance Aruba-based infrastructure solutions. This role will also help drive practice standards, architecture governance, and solution innovation across the Digital Infrastructure organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead enterprise infrastructure solution design centered on Aruba wired, wireless, and campus networking platforms.
• Partner with sales teams and customer stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Aruba-centric architectures.
• Develop and present solution architectures, technical proposals, BOMs, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Conduct executive briefings, technical workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and proof-of-concept engagements.

Enterprise Consulting & Technical Strategy Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor for customers undergoing campus modernization, wireless transformation, and network refresh initiatives.
• Perform network assessments, wireless readiness reviews, and architecture roadmap planning.
• Communicate advanced technical concepts to CIOs, IT directors, and engineering teams in clear business-aligned language.
• Perform network assessments and roadmap development.
• Design and validate enterprise-class architectures, including:
  • Aruba campus switching and access infrastructure (CX switching, VSF, EVPN/VXLAN)
  • Aruba wireless and mobility platforms (Aruba Central, ClearPass, AirWave)
  • Network segmentation, NAC, and Zero Trust edge security
  • SD-Branch and WAN integration
  • Hybrid cloud connectivity and management integrations
• Provide technical leadership across multi-vendor environments, integrating Aruba with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and other ecosystem partners.
• Drive Aruba best-practice adoption, performance optimization, and scalability planning.

Business Development & Sales Enablement Leadership

• Support strategic enterprise pursuits by providing technical differentiation and Aruba solution positioning.
• Lead customer demonstrations, architecture presentations, and solution validation activities.
• Deliver internal enablement sessions on Aruba technologies and competitive positioning.

Thought Leadership, Documentation & Mentorship

• Develop architecture standards, reference designs, and Aruba solution frameworks.
• Create technical documentation, best practice guides, and solution blueprints.
• Mentor engineers, architects, and pre-sales team members on Aruba platforms and design methodologies.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation within the infrastructure practice.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, solution architecture, or senior engineering roles.
• Extensive pre-sales and Aruba infrastructure design experience with a proven ability to align complex solutions to business outcomes.
• Extensive experience designing and delivering Aruba wired and wireless infrastructure solutions.
• Strong background in campus networking, wireless mobility, NAC, segmentation, and SD-Branch architectures.
• Proven success leading complex pre-sales engagements and enterprise customer interactions.
• Proven ability to deliver executive-level presentations and influence strategic decisions.

Preferred Certifications

• Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX) or Aruba Certified Switching Expert (ACSX)
