Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure (Roadway / DOT) Sales Manager Southeast to join Cooper Lighting Solutions as a Home-Based employee in the Southeast Region (AL, MS, GA, TN, KY, or AR), ideally near Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic plans to expand outdoor infrastructure lighting and controls sales with state DOTs.
  • Increase market share with utilities, cooperatives, and municipal electric utilities.
  • Engage with key influencers, presenting products and solutions to engineering firms and designers.
  • Support project opportunities, collaborating with regional specification managers.
  • Build relationships with utility and DOT contractors, ESCOs, and distributors.
  • Maintain high agency representation, providing training, supporting sales activities, and managing agent performance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Trellix Infrastructure controls, promoting technologies and securing pilot projects.
  • Support post-sales activities, including warranty and minor repairs.
  • Participate in infrastructure trade shows and conferences.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Liberal Arts, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' sales experience, preferably in lighting or related industries.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and proficiency with CRM and MS Office.
  • Experience with LED products in the DOT or municipal outdoor infrastructure sector is preferred.
  • Experience leading or working with third-party manufacturing reps or agencies.
