Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks a senior professional with 12+ years of engineering or architectural experience to lead complex capital projects in Virginia. The role involves coordinating with external design firms, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance.

Onsite work with clients is essential to build strong relationships and deliver high-impact infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture required.
• 12+ years in progressively complex engineering or architectural roles.
• Registered Architect or Licensed Professional Engineer in any state; ability to transfer to Virginia within one year.
• Significant experience may substitute licensure requirements in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact with unit representatives for the duration of the project.
• Manage work efforts of external organizations such as A/E firms, general contractors, and construction managers.
• Coordinate with institutional design teams to meet program objectives, design standards, regulatory requirements, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with Mason’s Office of University Building Official and the State Fire Marshal to ensure compliance.
• Direct activities of project team members and contracted consultants.
• Work onsite at client site to enable delivery and cultivate client relationships.
