Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Highway in Tampa, FL (or West Palm Beach, FL) to lead complex transportation projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee schedules and budgets, and guide design engineers from concept through final design.

The role emphasizes client relationship management and successful project delivery. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in highway engineering, PE licensure, and proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and related tools

Qualifications

BSCE required; PE license required.
10+ years in highway/roadway engineering design and project management.
Experience delivering DOT transportation projects; FDOT experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of highway geometry, AASHTO standards, and design guidelines.
Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and delivery of highway projects from inception through final design.
Oversee schedules, budgets, technical deliverables, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
Provide technical leadership and mentor design staff; coordinate subconsultants.
Support client relationships and business development for PRIME AE transportation practice.
Ensure compliance with design standards and client requirements.
