Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure) in Chicago to lead complex data centre, networking, compute and storage projects in a hybrid environment. You’ll own delivery from planning through production, coordinating engineers, vendors and stakeholders.

The role requires strong technical fluency, a track record delivering infrastructure programs, and an ownership mindset to move fast and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technology or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of data centres, networking, compute, storage and security.
• Ability to work with engineers as a credible technical peer.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from planning through production across multiple workstreams.
• Deliver data centre builds, migrations, hardware deployments and network infrastructure.
• Manage BOMs, procurement, hardware and connectivity requirements.
• Coordinate engineering teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Control scope, risk, cost and timelines.
