Job summary

Link Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Program Manager/Chief Infrastructure Engineer to lead enterprise infrastructure efforts for the ARL IT Modernization program in Adelphi, MD.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep expertise across datacenters, Active Directory, Nutanix, storage, networking, and hybrid cloud environments to support critical research and mission operations. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience designing, implementing, and operating large-scale enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain/maintain.
• IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570/8140.
• 12+ years of progressive enterprise IT infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor to PM and Govt leadership on infrastructure, cybersecurity, and modernization.
• Provide technical leadership across Windows/Linux servers, Nutanix, networking, storage, and hybrid cloud.
• Oversee architecture reviews, assessments, and modernization for secure, scalable solutions.
• Manage Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, PKI, identity management, and authentication services.
• Oversee networking, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and network operations.
• Support performance optimization, capacity planning, DR/BC initiatives, and lifecycle management.
• Lead troubleshooting and RCA across servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and services.
• Drive automation, CM, monitoring, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Develop roadmaps for emerging technologies aligned with mission goals.
• Ensure RMF, ATO, STIG compliance and vulnerability management.
• Mentor and guide systems admins, network engineers, and infra staff.
• Support workforce planning, resource allocation, risk management, and program execution.
