Job summary

Synchron, LLC has an exciting Senior Infrastructure Analyst role at the Washington Navy Yard, DC, supporting PMS 396 for Columbia-class SSBN transition infrastructure. You will lead facility readiness, coordinate transition agreements, and ensure funded, ready shore assets for in-service maintenance and modernization.

The role requires Navy program experience, strong stakeholder liaison skills, and the ability to translate ship specs into shore-side requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years experience in engineering, science management, or major defense infrastructure programs.
• Significant Navy submarine program background.
• Strong client-facing leadership across multi-agency teams.
• Ability to translate ship tech specs into shore-side infrastructure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead shore infrastructure and TRF readiness initiatives for transition to Columbia Class SSBNs.
• Draft and manage transition agreements among PMS offices, NAVFAC, CNIC, and TRFs.
• Coordinate with TRFs, public shipyards, and naval centers to ensure facilities readiness.
• Review POM requirements for MILCON and FRM funding in out-year plans.
• Synthesize lessons learned from prior class transitions to mitigate risks.
