JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer Lead to design and deliver secure, scalable infrastructure across compute, storage, network, and virtualization.

You will partner with application teams to translate requirements into resilient designs and drive adoption of automation and IaC. You will lead architecture reviews, manage risk and incident prevention, and ensure compliance with security standards while guiding modernization efforts and collaboration

Formación

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts with 5+ years of experience.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure engineering with ownership of solution design and delivery in large-scale environments.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure workflows with validation and security awareness.
• Ability to review AI-assisted recommendations before implementation with resiliency, security, and auditability focus.
• Deep expertise across Windows/Linux, virtualization/containers (ESXi/VMware), networking, storage, and backup/recovery.
• Experience leading technical design reviews and stakeholder alignment.
• Strong risk management, resiliency planning (HA/DR), and operational readiness.
• Proficient in observability stacks, capacity forecasting, and performance engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of producing clear technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Infrastructure Solution Design - Lead design and architecture across compute, storage, network, and virtualization, aligning with standards and business objectives.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and document mitigation options with proper data handling.
• Project Delivery - drive initiatives from concept to production with timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
• Operational Excellence - establish runbooks, monitoring, capacity planning, and incident prevention.
• Risk - identify resiliency gaps, single points of failure, capacity constraints, and security exposures with mitigation roadmaps.
• Translation - translate business requirements into engineering designs aligned with strategy and guardrails; evaluate products and services for platform capabilities.
• Security & Compliance - ensure security-by-design, IAM, encryption, segmentation, patching, vulnerability management, and auditability; support governance and lifecycle changes.
• Automation & Modernization - promote infrastructure-as-code and automation; lead data center migration and platform standardization.
• Collaboration & Communication - partner with teams and stakeholders; explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead AI-assisted practices to reduce issues, ensure changes are validated, traceable, and aligned to resiliency and security.
