Job summary

Partners Group in Denver is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Private Infrastructure Direct Investment Team, focusing on control and control-oriented investments across energy, communications, transportation, social infrastructure, and infrastructure services.

You will lead due diligence, build complex financial models in Excel, and prepare investment memoranda for the Investment Committee, while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to sourcing initiatives in the Americas.

Qualifications

• Top academic credentials; Master’s/MBA/CFA are additional assets.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in principal investing or investment banking.
• Expert financial modeling skills and strong Excel proficiency.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support quantitative and qualitative screening and due diligence on prospective private infrastructure investments.
• Lead aspects of process management during due diligence, overseeing more junior team members.
• Build and run sophisticated infrastructure financial models.
• Prepare investment memoranda for Investment Committee.
• Contribute to thematic sourcing initiatives across the Americas infrastructure landscape.
• Monitor existing investments and work with portfolio companies on value creation initiatives.
