Job summary

NVIDIA seeks Systems Engineers and Software Engineers to design, build, deploy, and run reliable large-scale infrastructure platform services atop NVIDIA hardware. You will ensure internal and external EDA services operate reliably, while collaborating on system design and automation strategies.

The role emphasizes creating scalable tooling, reducing toil, and participating in on-call rotations. Base salary varies by level, location, and experience, with equity and benefits available.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Track record of initiating your own projects and collaborating with others.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and distributed systems development.
• Experience in Python, Go, Perl or Ruby.
• In depth knowledge of Linux, Networking, Storage, and Containers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and run infrastructure services and manage the software lifecycle to meet business goals.
• Define internal service level objectives and error budgets as part of observability strategy.
• Eliminate toil or automate it where ROI justifies.
• Practice blameless incident prevention and incident response while on-call.
• Consult with peer teams on systems design best practices.
