Job summary

Assort Health in San Francisco is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to scale and secure the infrastructure powering our AI‑driven healthcare platform. You’ll own CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and developer tooling to enable fast, reliable software delivery at scale.

You’ll design autoscaling, optimize cloud costs, implement observability, and support incident response while collaborating closely with engineering teams to remove toil and accelerate innovation for patients and providers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Deep familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Proven track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong automation mindset and problem-solving approach to manual tasks.
• Understanding of networking, security and cloud architecture best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration to enable fellow engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
• Own infrastructure as code practices using Terraform.
• Scale infrastructure to support rapid growth and new healthcare systems.
• Build internal developer tools to boost engineering velocity.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, databases, and integrations.
• Plan capacity and optimize cost efficiency while maintaining reliability.
• Implement observability with metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards, and alerts.
• Support incident response and participate in on-call rotations.
