Job summary

SMART TECH SKILLS LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide senior-level expertise in modernizing enterprise infrastructure, including data center and endpoint transitions. The role covers core server environments, cloud platforms, identity services, and Tier III support.

Based in Salem, OR, you will lead migrations, deploy Windows imaging, manage Intune and GPO, and develop documentation and runbooks to ensure smooth operations and knowledge transfer across teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Windows Server administration and Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID.
• 4+ years in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise cloud infra.
• 4+ years with Microsoft Intune, GPO, and enterprise Windows deployment.
• 4+ years of PowerShell scripting for admin, automation, and troubleshooting.
• 4+ years in core network protocols, DNS and DHCP.
• 4+ years producing technical documentation and Tier III troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage network infrastructure, DNS and DHCP configurations, domain consolidations, and identity modernization.
• Support server migrations, infrastructure modernizations, and cloud platform integrations.
• Administer Intune, GPO, and enterprise endpoint management for workstation deployments.
• Execute Windows imaging and device lifecycle projects across enterprise users.
• Provide Tier III technical support and develop SOPs/runbooks and documentation.
• Participate in pilot deployments, production implementations, and readiness evaluations.
