Job summary

AcuityMD is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure, to enhance our cloud platform used in the medical technology sector. You will collaborate across departments to build and operate platform primitives, ensuring reliability and an excellent developer experience.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in software engineering, especially in infrastructure. Enjoy remote work, flexible PTO, and competitive compensation ranging from $180K to $250K.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering focusing on infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Implement container orchestration, service mesh, and secrets management.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Security teams.
• Improve observability and automated remediation for availability.

Skills

Cloud infrastructure experience (Kubernetes)

5+ years in software engineering

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools

Collaboration and communication skills

Understanding of observability
