Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to design, automate, operate, and optimize enterprise Hyper-V infrastructure in a Windows environment.

You will implement automation, manage lifecycles, and drive reliability across storage, networking, and virtualized compute at scale, with a focus on CI/CD and IaC practices. This role requires hands-on Hyper‑V expertise and strong scripting skills in PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience focusing on virtualization, Windows Server, storage and networking.
• Hands-on Hyper‑V experience including Failover Clustering, Live Migration, and S2D.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation background (WMI/DSC).
• Experience with Terraform / IaC and configuration management.
• Experience with Hyper‑V cluster deployment, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IS or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize enterprise-scale Hyper‑V clusters and virtual infrastructure.
• Manage Windows Server and Hyper‑V lifecycle activities: provisioning, upgrades, patches, and clustering operations.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Terraform, DSC, WMI, and IaC practices.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, remediation, and decommissioning of infrastructure.
• Design and optimize storage and networking configurations across virtual environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance across compute, storage, networking, and hypervisor layers.
• Plan capacity, benchmarking, and root-cause analysis to improve reliability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Provide technical design documentation and engineering standards support.
• Plan cluster upgrades and infrastructure changes with minimal production impact.
• Collaborate with security, hardware, networking, and capacity planning teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive automation/standardization improvements.

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering across virtualization, Windows Server, storage, and networking.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Hyper‑V, including Failover Clustering, Live Migration, Hyper‑V Virtual Switch, and Storage Spaces Direct (S2D).
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience, including WMI and DSC.
