Job summary

Atom Computing is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Boulder, CO to strengthen our infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments. This role will improve our software development workflows and ensure reliable operation of the quantum computer system.

The candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and physicists and must be available to be in the Boulder office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Enhance software development workflows and tooling.
• Maintain and monitor the critical infrastructure powering the quantum computer.
• Enable engineers and physicists to deploy software and run systems reliably and efficiently.
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team reporting to the Software Engineering Manager.
• Work across on-premises and cloud environments, with in-office presence in Boulder at least 3 days/week.
