Job summary

QuantumScape in California is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own enterprise IT infrastructure across on-prem and hybrid cloud, collaborating with GCP Platform Engineering and R&D teams to ensure secure, scalable operations.

This onsite role requires 8+ years of experience, strong networking, SSO/MFA, and Terraform/Ansible expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of hands-on infra engineering in hybrid environments.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IaC across on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Manage enterprise networking, identity, and endpoint systems.
• Support Kubernetes workloads with GCP Platform Engineering.
• Collaborate with InfoSec on hardening and compliance.
• Develop AI/automation capabilities for operations.
• Create runbooks and document infrastructure changes.
