Job summary

AMB Sports and Entertainment in Atlanta seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to own the design, deployment, security, and support of enterprise infrastructure across hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will lead infrastructure projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Networking, Security, Stadium Event Services, and business teams to ensure availability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, infrastructure administration, or cloud technologies.
Relevant certifications preferred (Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Security, or ITIL).

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise infrastructure platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
Administer and secure Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, hybrid identity services, and enterprise SaaS platform integrations.
Manage and optimize virtualization, server, storage, backup, recovery, and Azure infrastructure platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives involving cloud services, automation, lifecycle management, and platform upgrades.
Automate administrative and operational processes using PowerShell and other automation technologies.
Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and disaster recovery runbooks.
Support infrastructure monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and proactive problem management.
Collaborate with Information Security to implement security controls, identity governance, vulnerability remediation, and Zero Trust principles.
Provide Tier III support and technical leadership during major incidents, root cause analysis, and recovery efforts.
