Job summary

Howden Group Services Limited in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a global IT operations team. You will support hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including Azure and data centers, across the US region.

The role requires extensive cloud and AD experience, Microsoft technologies, networking and security practices. We offer flexible hours, hybrid working and opportunities to influence IT service delivery within a fast-paced insurance group.

Qualifications

Experience as cloud/infrastructure engineer or similar IT roles.
Extensive Azure and M365 experience.
Active Directory, DNS & Group Policy expertise.
Networking knowledge: Layer2/3, routing, firewall management.
Strong Windows desktop/server troubleshooting.
Experience with datacenters and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on infrastructure support for cloud, data center, and network services.
Collaborate in a distributed IT operations team to ensure high availability.
Participate in change control for production systems and incident response.
Produce and update documentation for IT processes and runbooks.
Conduct root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain security best practices and event logging across systems.
