The Infrastructure Engineer role owns compute, orchestration, networking, and platform systems that power both products with a focus on reliability and scale. You will collaborate with product engineers and researchers to design scalable infrastructure, build developer tooling, and drive observability and security across multi-tenant

Qualifications

• Deep systems engineering experience designing and operating large-scale distributed infrastructure.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency in Python and systems codebases.
• Strong observability and alerting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own agent execution infrastructure: design and operate sandboxed compute environments powering Devin's task execution, including VM orchestration and container management at scale.
• Build and maintain the developer platform: CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, and developer abstractions for fast product shipping.
• Drive reliability and observability: define SLOs, build monitoring/alerting, lead incident response, and postmortem follow-ups.
• Scale with the product: anticipate capacity needs and make infrastructure investments ahead of growth.
• Collaborate across engineering: work with product engineers and researchers to meet system needs without added complexity.
