Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support a large, multi-site enterprise in Mesa, AZ. This hands-on role covers Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Teams, and SharePoint, with virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V and Veeam backups.

Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years in infrastructure roles, strong Azure and networking knowledge, and a track record of ownership and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Senior Systems Administration experience.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and security administration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview and compliance technologies.
• SharePoint Online administration experience.
• Microsoft Teams administration and support experience.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services.
• VMware administration experience.
• Hyper-V administration experience.
• Experience with Veeam backup and recovery solutions.
• Working knowledge of Cisco networking fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Experience supporting mid-sized to enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Assist with cloud adoption initiatives and Azure-based infrastructure projects.
• Support and maintain virtualization environments including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Participate in ongoing Hyper-V migration efforts.
• Manage backup and recovery solutions utilizing Veeam.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, systems, and cloud-related issues.
• Support enterprise collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams and telephony solutions.
• Assist with network administration and troubleshooting involving Cisco technologies.
• Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Take ownership of projects from planning through implementation with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver infrastructure initiatives.
