EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, automate, and operate infrastructure across on‑prem data centers and Google Cloud Platform environments.

The role emphasizes hands‑on ops history and advancing to automation, IaC, and public cloud. You will set technical direction for infrastructure, mentor engineers, own scalable systems, and contribute to global operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering with production ownership.
• Proficient in Linux (Red Hat/Debian) at scale.
• Experience with Cisco networking, DNS, load balancing.
• Strong automation with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.
• Proficient in Python or similar for tooling.
• Experience with GCP (Compute Engine, IAM, networking).
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate large-scale, multi-data center infrastructure supporting international operations.
• Lead automation of infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
• Design and maintain traffic management, load balancing, and DNS systems at scale.
• Build and operate monitoring and observability systems across both on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Develop tooling to support distributed, auditable systems administration.
• Write and maintain process, policy, and procedural documentation for the infrastructure organization.
