Job summary

Serco Inc. in the United States is seeking an Experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure platform infrastructure in a remote capacity.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation; build CI/CD pipelines; monitor performance; collaborate with DevOps and security teams; and drive automation while ensuring compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum 4 years of platform engineering/DevOps experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation.
• Deep understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure platform infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; address issues proactively.
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimize deployment.
• Implement observability: logging, metrics, tracing.
• Ensure security and operational standards across environments.
• Drive automation of manual processes to reduce risk.
