Job summary

Serco Inc. (Serco) is seeking an Experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a 100% remote role to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure supporting applications and services.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation), CI/CD, observability, and secure operations, with strong Azure expertise and the ability to work across DevOps and security teams.

Qualifications

US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 4 years in platform engineering, DevOps, CloudOps, or IaC roles.
Strong experience with Azure.
Proficiency in scripting and automation.
Deep understanding of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with networking, security, and system administration best practices.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployment and operations.
Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; address issues proactively.
Collaborate with software engineers to optimize performance and deployment.
Implement observability with logging, metrics, and tracing.
Ensure security and operational standards across environments; drive automation.
