Job summary

QVC Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support Cornerstone Brands and ensure the optimal performance of critical network infrastructure in large enterprise environments. You will report to the Senior Director IT Infrastructure and work in a hybrid model at the West Chester, OH office.

You will lead and participate in advanced networking initiatives, implement routing and switching best practices, and collaborate with architecture teams to design scalable solutions across data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in infrastructure networking impacting other technologies.
• Expertise in Cisco-centric environments.
• Knowledge of Cisco Nexus switches.
• Expertise in routing and switching, spanning tree, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, LACP, vPC.
• Knowledge of WAN technologies: MPLS, E-line, Metro Ethernet, WAN Optimization.
• Experience implementing QoS and VOIP concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting network issues and packet captures.
• Experience with Load Balancers.
• Experience with Network Firewalls (ASA, Check Point or Palo Alto).

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for escalated issues.
• Act as a technical resource within IT for your domain.
• Lead or participate in SWAT teams for mission critical apps.
• Evaluate new technologies and make strategic recommendations.
• Design complex environments independently.
• Contribute to cross-system environment design specs.
• Provide guidance to Architecture TRM and Guardrails.
