Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer - Infrastructure (Finance) to lead the design and direction of GPU firmware infrastructure, automation, and release pipelines. You will drive reliability, tooling, and AI-powered workflows across cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.

You will mentor engineers, define platform standards, and partner with firmware, hardware, and business teams to accelerate NVIDIA’s GPU innovation.

Qualifications

BS or MS in EE/CS/CE (or equivalent experience).
12+ years of infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE engineering.
Strong Python fluency, IaC experience, and scripting ability.
Experience with distributed systems, cloud/on-prem compute fleets, containers, and orchestration (K8s).
History of cross-org production systems ownership and lessons learned.
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

Set technical direction for major platform areas across product cycles.
Design and lead infrastructure initiatives spanning team boundaries (firmware, hardware, partners).
Own platform reliability: define SLIs/SLOs, instrument metrics, reduce MTTR, automate incident response.
Identify automation opportunities and deliver solutions.
Architect AI-powered workflows to multiply output.
Set technical bar through reviews, docs, and mentoring.
