Job summary

NVIDIA in California is seeking an experienced firmware automation engineer to design and build the core infrastructure that powers firmware development for NVIDIA GPUs. You will automate workflows, pipelines, and tooling used by hardware and software engineers to accelerate firmware development and validation.

The role emphasizes building scalable, AI-assisted workflows, improving developer tooling, and reducing toil across teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of software, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE engineering
• Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD and test automation, architecting and debugging pipelines

Responsibilities

• Build, supervise, and improve build systems, regression farms, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling
• Debug and resolve issues across hardware, software, infrastructure and team processes
• Invent and build AI-powered workflows that scale to multiply outputs
• Learn, document, and automate processes and tooling for teams
• Identify and eradicate toil by turning improvements from PoC to scalable solutions
