The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) invites applications for a Senior Investment Officer to lead the origination, structuring, and execution of infrastructure private credit and other debt co-investment transactions with financial sponsors globally. The role covers Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America with emphasis on debt origination and underwriting.

Requirements include 10+ years in debt-financing for infrastructure, an advanced finance degree, and CFA or equivalent

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of debt-financing experience in infrastructure finance or sponsor-backed infra investments.
Advanced degree; CFA or equivalent preferred.
Strong knowledge of equity and debt financing counterparty markets.
Proven ability to structure complex financing solutions across capital structure.

Responsibilities

Originate, structure, and execute sponsor-backed green and sustainable infra debt transactions.
Lead detailed financial modeling and credit analysis; prepare investment memoranda.
Perform due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, ESG, and tech workstreams.
Negotiate term sheets, financing agreements, intercreditor arrangements and documents.
Monitor portfolio performance, covenant tracking, and risk rating updates.
Support co-investment strategies with approved GPs, including potential equity co-investments.
